with Sarah Haran
August feels like Christmas each year in Scotland's capital, when all that is creative, comedic, artistic and fanciful congregates in Edinburgh to celebrate the Edinburgh Fringe festive for a full month. We at Eponymous love it and always book a wide variety of shows (and always one or two slightly off piste from our usual tastes), coupled with the added bonus that we get to sample some of our favourite independent food establishments - hello Mary's Milk Bar!
An added bonus this year was our invitation to Sarah Haran's month long popup in Jenners department store, no mean feat for an independent handbag and accessories brand in a highly competitive market. Sarah needn't worry as her collection stands proudly alongside her fellow designers and the night was a wonderful mix of fashion, friends and delicious food (spot a trend here?). Catching up with industry friends is always a bonus and we were thrilled to see established Scottish photographer Zeno Watson capturing the evening for posterity and we strongly suggest that you look up Zeno's work if you want to discover just how talented this dynamic and energetic fashion photographer is. Zeno has worked with several of the independent brands we've carried over the years and it's no wonder why he's up there as a go-to name for so many indies.
So as we prepare for our new season AW2018 launches, we'll leave you with our favourite image of our first visit to a cat cafe, namely Maison de Moggy. What better way to celebrate our up-coming Eponymous event (all will be revealed!) than to enjoy the company of these little cuties.
