Wear Eponymous is an official Scottish Fashion Awards 2016 nominee! We are up for the Best Scottish Retailer award and could not be more excited. It’s the 11th year for the Scottish Fashion Awards, and this year, the black tie ceremony will be on the 21st October in the UK's fashion capital, London.
Co-hosted by Chairman and founder Dr. Tessa Hartmann CBE and the Rt. Hon David Mundell MP Secretary of State for Scotland, the awards are an opportunity to showcase all the new fashion talent in Scotland on a global stage.
The judges include: Anna Murphy (Fashion Director of The Times), Nicky Johnston (Celebrity Photographer), Charlotte Moore (Editor of InStyle), Colin McDowell MBE, Sara Maino (Senior Fashion Editor of Vogue Italia), Trish Halpin (Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire), and Justine Picardie (Editor-in-Chief of Harpers Bazaar).
Founder Tessa Hartmann said she never thought it would grow into something so big. She calls the Scottish Fashion Awards: "A movement where suddenly the Scots had a voice in fashion, a platform where we could showcase the emerging innovators as well as some of the leaders of the world's luxury fashion houses."
Over the years, our category has been won by retailers including Cruise, Schuh, Rox, Ultimo and, most recently, Walker Slater, so we’re so pleased to be up for such a prestigious award.
Wish us luck!
